During the excursion you will visit a Museum of Nature, watch the animals in enclosures and walk along the ecological path. There is a number of tours available onsite that will take you to most hidden and exotic spots of the reserve – by boat, by bicycle or on foot. You will also have a chance to learn about the way of life of local people, their traditions and customs; you’ll see the works made by local craftsmen and taste authentic Belarusian cuisine.
Berezinsky Reserve deserves its status of an untouched territory that is inhabited by endangered species like lynx, bear, wolf, bison and elk (they make up a top five if Europe’s rarest animals). There are 38 bisons in the reserve that spend most of their time near Palik Lake, the area that is hard to access. The reserve can also boast of a diverse flora that has been preserved and enriched only thanks to enormous efforts of the staff.
If you care to stay a bit longer here, book one of the guest houses “Plavno” and “Serguch” located in the reserve through our site and get your discount.
