Among the green hills and meadows, village houses from different epochs have been collected and preserved. Here one can observe works of traditional folk architecture (barns, houses, churches), original household tools from various ethnographical regions of Belarus. A visit to the museum will give you an idea of what countryside houses looked like (and even look like - in remote places of Belarus) and feel the spirit of the Belarusian nation. Many folk holidays that date back to pagan times are staged here. Thus on Kupala Night you can jump over the fire, sing songs and dance and take part in magic ceremonies. Looking for a fern-flower at night will be a lot of fun and tasting national cuisine will help you to relax and regain energy.
A group of tourists can also have a corporate party organized for them: inside an original tavern in the 19th century you will feel the ambience of that time, while outside you will enjoy your meal as well as scenic vistas. A folklore band will sing with you and teach you some dances, too. One can also embark on a horse-carriage ride, games, contests and visit the local souvenir shop. Private parking lot and security service will guarantee an undisturbed stay.- Duration: 3 hour(s)
- Location: Ozertso, 15 km off Minsk
