It now seeks to reveal the objective history of the War, with a huge number of German exhibits on display.
The dedicated and professional staff has worked out a number of new excursions that will amuse and educate the visitors. It is for the first time in museum's history that visitors are taken to storages where artifacts such as hand weapons, uniforms, leaflets and newspapers, maps and documents and even household items are open to public. Some of them, produced by well-known Western manufacturers like Kodak, Gillette or BOSS are still in working condition.
The following museum's services are much in demand:
- copies of original maps of Europe's battlefields (to help one find burials);
- documents and personal effects of the German soldiers (can help to track soldiers who were captured);
- casualty lists (there is a database that helps to find soldiers who died in Belarus).
We will order an excursion or make an inquiry for you and provide an interpreter. On average the tour will cost around 10 euro per person, but there are a lot of small details and fees that may affect the price, so please check with us before you go.
- Duration: 3 hour(s)
