The museum was founded in 1993 and occupies the territory of about 400 acres. For 130 years the Dudutki Estate was owned by the Elsky Family, who brought here craftsmen from Germany to teach local youth.
This is why this place became a cultural center of Belarus. All visitors, regardless of their age and occupation would find it fascinating to plunge into the atmosphere of the 19th century Belarus, learn about the way of life.
A standard program includes a visit to the only old wooden windmill, which still works, where you can witness how the flour is milled. You can also visit a working pottery, a forge and a village bakery, where you'll be entertained with fresh-baked bread, cheese and butter. A peace of clay or wood or steel in your hands will turn into a work of art under the supervision of the specialists.
The only legal moonshine-machine in Belarus is producing one of the national beverages, also available to taste at sight. You will certainly enjoy a visit to a museum and a splendid park on the river-bank.
